Great pram, difficult to access the tray

I love my Mountain Buggy Duet. It is the best way to get my toddler to nap while looking after my newborn as well, and coupling it with the Cocoon has been helpful. It is really smooth to push on bumpy footpaths and is great when we have to walk on the grass to get around wheelie bins.
My only complaints are that the brake handle would be better placed in the middle or the right hand side instead of the left, as I always want to use my right hand as it's stronger and has better control, and that there is not enough clearance between the seats and the tray to put a decent sized nappy bag through the gap. My bag fits in the tray, it's just very hard to get in and out to use it.

Hi Lorraine,

Thank you so much for your review of the duet™. We're thrilled to hear that it has been a great pram for you and has made life easier with a newborn and a toddler.

We appreciate your feedback about the brake handle placement and tray access. For added convenience, we offer satchel clips that can attach to any parenting bag and then to your handlebar. This ensures the bag sits flat, keeping everything at your fingertips.

Thank you for choosing Mountain Buggy®, and we hope you continue to enjoy your duet™!

A great twin Pram

I’ve been using the Mountain Buggy Duet for my twins, and I can’t say enough good things about it! First off, it’s surprisingly lightweight, even with both babies in it. I never feel like I’m lugging around a heavy stroller, which is a lifesaver when I’m out and about.

Maneuvering this stroller is a breeze. It glides smoothly, making it easy to navigate through tight spaces and crowded areas. Plus, the compact fold is a game changer! I can easily collapse it with one hand, which is crucial when I’m juggling two little ones.

The parcel tray is another fantastic feature. I love the built-in zip closing bags for storing our valuables. It keeps everything organized and secure while we’re on the go.

Both babies are so much happier sitting side by side after being in a one up one down pram.

Overall, the Mountain Buggy Duet has made outings with my twins so much easier and more enjoyable. Highly recommend it for any twin parents out there!

Hi Emma,

Thank you for your review. Your twins are absolutely gorgeous, and it’s great to hear that your outings with your little ones are much easier and more enjoyable.

Thanks,
MBx

Use it daily!

This stroller hits all the marks! We use it to hike trails, shop in stores, took it to DisneyWorld, anything and everything. It’s been amazing!

Horrible

After one year of use, I am very disappointed. First, I couldn’t even use the Carrycot Plus bassinet because my children were born in the summer, and they are so deep and lack ventilation that they got extremely hot inside. The bassinets were a waste of money. If you live in a very cold place, they might be worth it, but in Spain, the children get cooked inside. When they were a couple of months old, I converted them into seats and started using them, even though it said they were for six months and up. But having to assemble and disassemble so many pieces every time I folded the stroller was horrible. At six months old, my child didn’t fit because he has broad shoulders, and they were rubbing against the sides, so I converted it back into a seat, but it’s impossible to keep it in place: one of the seats constantly collapses because the zippers come undone. The children weigh 8 and 10 kg. The instructions are very poorly printed, and it’s difficult to understand the small black-and-white drawings. There are no videos showing how to assemble it either.
Then there are details that are not well finished, like the canopy attachments that can scratch the children, the clips that are made of plastic and break at the slightest touch...
Yes, it’s very narrow and the only one that fits in my car’s trunk, but as of today, I regret buying it. I couldn’t find it in any store, and now I understand why.

Hi,
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your experience with our carrycot plus has not been a positive one.

For parents living in warmer climates, you can remove the cosy toe. Using the carrycot plus mesh cover, which easily attaches to the sun hood, will help keep your little one protected while providing the ventilation needed for warmer climates.

We apologise that you had difficulty finding our instructional video. You can locate it on the product page under the 'Instructions' tab or under the 'Support' tab under the heading 'Product Instructions'.

When using the carrycot plus in parent-facing mode, please ensure that you use the stroller liner designed for this mode to provide your little one with the necessary cushioning and comfort.

We recommend using the parent-facing mode from six months of age, as this is when your child typically reaches the developmental stage needed to support themselves in a sitting position.

Thank you once again for your feedback, which has given us the opportunity to address your concerns.
