sublime tyre performance on all terrain
terrain™ includes both 16” AND 12" air filled, rear wheel tyres for you to go from active to urban in seconds. Because these are true air filled tyres, you can be guaranteed a much better ride and manoeuvrability; the 12” tyres has a strong rubber outer tube that meets the most generous air filled pocket, providing the greatest degree of cushioning and smoothest handling on any surface; well suited for any terrain from shopping malls to the mountain trails. The 16” tyres are made with a bias ply construction, with a steel bead and nylon casing, with all purpose tread for absolute traction.
3-mode front wheel
You can set your front wheel to lock back, lock forward or 360° full swivel.
precision steering for all terrain handling
The front wheel houses an adjustable tracking device for precision steering adjustment and maximum stability. When you lock the front wheel back, it helps you traverse a slope or allows for easier crossing of soft terrain. When you lock the wheel forward, it provides a longer wheelbase for even more stability for when jogging.
straight tracking
Also housed on the front wheel, is a torsion lever to allow for wheel camber micro adjustments – delivering absolutely perfect straight tracking.

terrain™ uses a stronger spring to absorb more impact when on all terrain surfaces, improving handling and surface grip.
complete control
A hand operated active brake allows for maximum control to slow your buggy down across all surfaces, gradients and terrain. You can loosen your brake for a smooth reduction of speed for control, OR you can tighten for stronger and more deliberate stopping power.

The seat has a lower center of gravity, as your child sits snug inside the buggy frame at the right height. This perfect center of gravity instantly delivers superior manoeuvrability, lighter kerb pop (you don’t need a lot of weight to pop the nose of the buggy up to get over a kerb), and also provides better balance / stability.

There is always a built-in, full lie flat, newborn bed – so convenient as NO additional newborn purchase is required (although they are available). This is great if you need to save to spend on other extras for your baby.

You also don’t have to fuss about taking the seat off the frame before folding (unlike most modular seat buggies); just fold with the fabric sling seat still attached, and pop away easily.
It rides/drives like a dream. Easy to maneuver, comfortable for my daughter and I love the storage space! It easily holds all my gear for my Baby Boot Camp classes! The side zipper pockets on the canopy are my favorite because I never lose my keys now! I would totally recommend this and wish I had it for my first baby!

The best companion to my daughter! ![User picture]()
This stroller has been used from when my daughter was just a little baby right until she was 4 and having her afternoon naps in there while I went for long walks. Easy to travel with, compatible, comfortable for naps, easy to take on all terrains. One of my favorites.

Does the basics well
Things I've upgraded;
- bar tape
- tyres
- brake lever, don't expect the hand brake to stop the buggy, just slow it down with hand cramp.
Things that have annoyed me;
- the bassinet angles aren't great I.e. you can't always get it perfectly level.
- the weight capacity of the parent facing seat (converted from bassinet) is less than the actual bassinet! Buggy does not collapse as one with this seat on.
- rivets
- the pull out footrest never stays out unless you're stationary, it's also way too short.
- the food tray doesn't fit properly into the foam covered bumper bar.
- bumper bar doesn't come off/on easily
- buckle is very fiddly with five individual points to clip in each time, the straps naturally become too low down on baby when you recline the back rest, the padded shoulder bits come off every single time
- fold the buggy, the handle will touch the floor if you prop it up on its edge.
- expensive accessories (rain cover/ sun cover)
- recline function could be better, you can't get into the basket if fully reclined. Difficult if shopping with a sleeping baby.
Overall I do like this buggy, it allows me to get out onto the trails, I've really put it through its paces and I'm strong so have swung it around tree roots and through brambley narrow paths, plenty of muddy trails, snow, shops, as well as running (from 6months in main sling seat).
Some basic tweaks would make this a great buggy but it's priced well in the market so knock yourself out!

Worth every penny!

Great manoeuvrability and build quality
The Terrain buggy handles like no other. It can steers very light but also has the option to block the front weel for running when you want stability. We use it not only in the outdoors but everywhere we go.
You can transform it really easy and everything feels very solid.
We are using it now for our second child and it still feels like new!

Superb - Looking for a fast, stable high quality running pram? Look no further!
After months of research looking for a suitable running pram for a World Record attempt. I landed on the Mountain Buggy Terrain. On my first test run I used it on the local athletics track and I immediately knew that if I was going to get the World Record, it would have been with this product. Tip, make sure the tyres are inflated enough as this makes all the difference if you want to go faster.
The helpful features such as the handbrake and large tyres gave me confidence in it when running at high speed with a fragile 8 month old baby strapped in. This worked perfectly for what I needed it for and my baby loves it. The pram has helped me bond with my baby while doing something I love.
Since the successful record attempt, I've put it through its paces on all kinds of terrain including trail, cobbles, grass and it is really sturdy and holds my baby in securely. Another feature which I didn't know it had originally was a tether for my wrist which comes in handy when going downhill in case you lose your grip.
I think Mountain Buggy thought of everything here. Buy it, you won't be disappointed.
