How do I clean my buggy?

We want you to live your life without limit, which means taking your Mountain Buggy to places a lot of other brands wouldn't dream of.

So, a lot of our buggies are easy to clean and can withstand a bit of tough scrubbing!

If you've been quite adventurous and ended up with a bit of excess dirt or grime, give your buggy a clean and it'll perform and look like new.

Specific care instructions can be found in your instruction manual, but for more generic information read on.

Brush off any excessive dirt or sand. Fabrics can be sponge cleaned using a mild natural soap solution in lukewarm water (no more than 38C/100F). Rinse thoroughly. DO NOT tumble dry or dry in strong sunlight - dry in shade. DO NOT bleach. Do not dry clean. Do not iron. To avoid fabric fading, cover the buggy if it is exposed to direct sunlight through glass e.g. in a car or if stored in exposed areas.

If the buggy is used in exposed environments such as salt water, salt spray or beach sand, wash any steel parts of the buggy by hosing the buggy or use warm soapy water. Dry thoroughly and protect by spraying with light aerosol can oil, eg WD40 or CRC-556.

If you've gone a little overboard with the adventures, we do have a wide range of replacement parts available to give your buggy a refreshed look.
